Carluke Family day

Carluke leisure centre put on a family day and it was fabby. We got our faces painted again (this time a dog for Neive, Batman fort Zack and a fairy for Becky).

They put on a puppet show and it was pitch black with neon lights shining on the puppets. It was brilliant and the girls got to touch the puppets at the end. Ben was busy doing animation on the computer and Zack was creating a caterpillar. Then Neive, Beth and I headed for the family percussion session. Neive loved bashing the drums and playing with the wooden toad (the were musical instruments). Zack and Becky were doing drama - Darling! and Ben was Djing - superstar DJ! We stopped for lunch and I got Neive more books from the library. By 2 o'clock Neive was shattered from running about outside and we left but the kids still had street dancing, plastic fantastic. I don't know what was better though - the entertainment or the fact there's a starbucks cafe there!

They were all kicked out at finishing time. It was a brilliant day and I hope they do it again in the future.
